About Priorities USA
Priorities USA runs effective, large-scale, digital voter mobilization and

research and data. We build training and tools to grow our collective,
progressive power. In partnership with movement allies, we employ innovative
digital strategies and empower voters.
About the Role
Priorities fellows should be eager to learn from and work alongside our teams as
they execute multi-million dollar efforts to re-elect President Biden and Vice
President Harris and expand Progressive majorities up and down the ballot. This
full-time, paid fellowship is a comprehensive job experience designed to prepare
you for a long-term career in progressive politics. The fellowship begins
Monday, April 1, 2024 and ends Friday, August 2, 2024.
Please only complete one application for your first choice fellowship program -
do not complete both applications. There will be an opportunity to indicate
interest in also being considered for the Digital Advertising and Creative
fellowship in the application.
Responsibilities
* Work directly with the Priorities Analytics team and support them with long
and short term projects as needed. No prior analytics experience is
required!
* Create analytics products, including memos, spreadsheets, data
visualizations, and PowerPoints for leadership and external partners.
* Assist on qualitative research as needed (e.g. categorizing ads by creative
content and copy, and tracking which organizations are spending on the
midterm elections).
* Support long-term Targeting and Analytics projects (e.g. data cleaning and
collection).
* Improve your understanding of SQL.
* Connect with political professionals to develop networking and job training
skills to help you build a lasting career in progressive politics.
*
Qualifications
* Have an interest in learning how to use data science, programming, statistics
and qualitative research to help elect Democrats and a strong desire to
continue working in Progressive politics after the fellowship program
concludes.
* Have previous experience with any coding language or an interest in learning
SQL.
* Have previous experience (job, internship, volunteer position) with political
campaigns, advocacy, public service or a commitment to progressive causes and
electing Democrats.
* Have exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
* Be willing -- and excited! -- to try new things, learn from successes and
mistakes, ask questions, and adapt with new and changing information.
* Be at the beginning of your career—about to graduate college, just graduated,
and/or less than four years in the workforce. A college degree is NOT
required to participate in this fellowship program.
