About the job We are seeking ambitious and curious interns who are available to join our fast-paced and energetic team for the spring semester. Overview: This is a paid internship open to college juniors, seniors, and recent graduates who are interested in building their communications skills in preparation for careers in fields such as public relations, journalism, law, or digital media. You will work closely with members of our team to support a variety of clients, including with content creation, social media, events, editing, media relations, research, and more. Ideal candidates are available to spend at least 20 hours per week in either our NYC or DC office. Start and end dates are flexible, and a set schedule can be coordinated to fit the intern’s availability. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Qualities: * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Interest in financial, legal, policy, and other general business issues * Ability to think both strategically and creatively * Strong work ethic and attention to detail * Able to plan, problem solve, and prioritize various projects in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational and project management skills * Proficient in social media platforms and Microsoft Office To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter to careers@tlgcommunications.com.
