DSCC Internship
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is the only committee solely dedicated to electing a Democratic Senate. The DSCC works to protect our Senate Democratic incumbents and expand the majority. DSCC Interns will be assigned to a specific department at the DSCC.
The DSCC is seeking applicants for the 2024 DSCC Summer Internship Program. The DSCC Internship program is open to a diverse array of applicants, with diversity understood broadly to encompass individuals from different backgrounds, experiences, traditions, and socioeconomic circumstances.
Dates: The internship program will run from early June to mid-August. Internship orientation will begin on June 3, 2024, in Washington, DC. There are some options to begin the internship program in the weeks leading up to orientation, please note in your application whether you are available prior to the orientation date. The expectation is that all selected individuals will complete the entire program length that runs until mid-August.
Hours: DSCC Interns are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
Pay: Interns are paid an equivalent to an hourly rate of $20 / hour. If you are in a college program where you are not permitted to be paid for an internship, you may still apply.
Location: This is not a remote work opportunity. All Interns are required to be in the D.C. / Maryland / Virginia area. You may be asked to work out of the DSCC office, located on Capitol Hill.
