About the Role Priorities fellows should be eager to learn from and work alongside our teams as they execute multi-million dollar efforts to re-elect President Biden and Vice President Harris and expand Progressive majorities up and down the ballot. This full-time, paid fellowship is a comprehensive job experience designed to prepare you for a long-term career in progressive politics. The fellowship begins Monday, April 1, 2024 and ends Friday, August 2, 2024. Please only complete one application for your first choice fellowship program - do not complete both applications. There will be an opportunity to indicate interest in also being considered for the Digital Advertising and Creative fellowship in the application. Responsibilities * Work directly with the Priorities USA Paid Media, Media Buying, and Creative teams and support them with long and short term projects as needed. No prior experience is required!  * Learn from the paid media team as they plan and strategize Priorities extensive digital ads program. We'll teach you how to put together media briefs and implement media plans for targeted digital ad campaigns that meet the strategic imperatives laid out in each race/state. * Learn from the Media Buying team as they place ad buys for Priorities multi-million dollar digital campaign budget. We’ll teach you how to place ad buys, monitor and report on how our ad campaigns are performing and adapt campaigns in response to reporting and feedback. * Learn from the creative team as they conceptualize and execute all creative concepts for Priorities’ ad campaigns - both still and video. We’ll teach you about production, copywriting, and creative brief writing.  * Connect with political professionals and develop networking and job training skills to help you build a lasting career in progressive politics. * Qualifications * Have an interest in learning how to run digital ad campaigns and a strong desire to continue working in Progressive politics after the fellowship program concludes. * Have previous experience (job, internship, volunteer position) with political campaigns, advocacy, public service or a commitment to progressive causes and electing Democrats. * Have exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.  * Be willing -- and excited! -- to try new things, learn from successes and mistakes, ask questions, and adapt with new and changing information. * Be at the beginning of your career—about to graduate college, just graduated, and/or less than four years in the workforce. A college degree is NOT required to participate in this fellowship program. Logistics Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered for this fellowship.  This is a full-time, paid position with full benefits. Fellows will be expected to commit to working full-time (40 hours per week) at Priorities throughout the duration of the fellowship. Priorities' business hours are 10:00 am - 6:00 pm ET - fellows are expected to work those hours regardless of the time zone that they live in. The entirety of this fellowship will take place remotely with potential optional travel to Washington, DC for in-person meetings and professional development. Compensation and Benefits Fellows will receive a gross monthly salary of $5,000 before taxes and deductions, with semi-monthly pay periods throughout the four-month duration, equivalent to an annual salary of $60,000.
