Teradata’s Intern Program Our summer internship program lasts 10-12 weeks beginning in May/June and ending in August/September. We offer a fast-paced, flexible, fun environment where you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and face new challenges every day. Location Our program is fully virtual. Interns must remain in the US for the duration of the internship. What You’ll Do You will get to work on one of the many exciting projects in our pipeline. Some examples include * Extending our telemetry solution to the next level - clean reporting on opportunities for CX or efficiency improvement, identification of and alerting on performance profile changes etc. * Enabling high granularity real time monitoring of change controls, estimate time remaining, alerting on variance * Customer-facing upgrade benefits reports (i.e. list of new features, bug fixes, security patches etc. upon upgrading to the new version) * Who You’ll Work With Our global Software Development team is focused on delivering secure, high-quality solutions for automated service delivery to delight our customers. We are grounded by our core principles and building teams that are * Customer and market-driven * Agile in execution, and * Accountable to each other * What Makes You a Qualified Candidate * Must be enrolled in a MS/PhD degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant discipline, With graduation dates between December 2024-June 2026 * Experience with coding in Python or any object-oriented programming language * Demonstrable project experience in school or from personal projects * Unit testing experience (a plus). * What You’ll Bring * Openness to learn new things and work in a collaborative, global team environment * Experience or familiarity with virtual computing, Linux OS, Jenkins, and PyTest, * Familiarity with Agile software development principles. * Why We Think You’ll Love Teradata We prioritize a people-first culture because we know our people are at the very heart of our success.
