LINGO, a German climate NGO, is seeking a multi-talented intern to join the Fossil Free Zones (FFZ) team on our mission to transform the narrative around fossil fuels. You will play a pivotal role in general team support, partnerships, outreach, Fossil Free Zone identification and mapping, and social media. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission by engaging with communities, forging partnerships, and elevating our online presence.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and Cultivate Partnerships:
- Seek out and establish partnerships with organizations that share a commitment to the FFZ mission.
- Work collaboratively with partners to seamlessly integrate FFZ into their initiatives and projects.
- Community Engagement and Research:
- Research and engage with activists, community leaders, and organizations to build meaningful partnerships and identify potential Fossil Free Zones.
- Foster connections that contribute to the growth and global impact of FFZ.
- Social Media Strategy and Execution:
- Refine and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for Fossil Free Zones.
- Plan and maintain a dynamic social media calendar to engage audiences on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Content Creation and Branding:
- Create and post engaging content that captures the unique voice of Fossil Free Zones, ensuring consistent branding across platforms.
- Showcase positive examples of Fossil Free Zones, short interviews with pioneers, uplifting news stories, and project accomplishments.
- Social Media Analytics and Improvement:
- Analyze and track social media performance metrics to assess impact.
- Provide concrete suggestions for improvement, ensuring continuous growth and effectiveness in our online presence.
Requirements:
- Computer with a stable internet connection.
- Fluent in English with proficiency in virtual communication.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and commitment to the FFZ vision.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the impact of outreach and social media efforts.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships and collaboration.
- Experience in partnerships, project management, or social media.
