INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

The Policy Team in the global Advocacy and External Engagement Team leads World Vision's global policy work and provides thought leadership for policy and advocacy influencing. Our objective is to change policies at the global level so that they are more just and conducive to the services needed for children. Our team helps create international legal frameworks that can help national offices influence national policies and ensure that they ensure justice for children and generate better education, health, and protection services for children.

Our current global ENOUGH campaign works with all our supporters and partners and leverages our expertise by making children visible in global and national statistics around hunger and nutrition, to drive real change in the places where children are receiving food support—emergency

food assistance programmes, school meals, and community health services—and lead global efforts to get more and better aid invested in ending child hunger and malnutrition.

We believe there is ENOUGH in this world for every child, no matter where they live, or the crises they face, to have the nourishing food they need to thrive and for families to be more resilient. God provided us with an abundant planet that has ENOUGH to feed every child well.
