World Vision Internships provide a three-month opportunity for exceptional students and recent graduates ready to explore a career in the international relief and development sector. BEFORE APPLYING, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Able to commit to at least 24 hours per week for the entire internship period: 20 May – 16 August.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have a valid US Social Security Number.
- Be physically located in one of the following states where WVI is registered as an employer: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
- Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate or graduate programme (within 2 years).
- Adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith.
- Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software on those devices.
DETAILS
- Stipend: All US-based interns are paid a monthly stipend of $800
- Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week)
- Internship Location: Remote within the US (see eligible states above).
- Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: BSc in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

This internship position plays a key role in supporting projects like the digital transformation of the benefits function for the US and International staff through a new Human Resources System implementation and supporting the employee wellness strategy for our US-based staff. In addition, the role will support TR teams with process design and improvement activities to improve efficiency.

The intern’s responsibilities will include:
- Work with the Total Rewards team on compensation, benefits, and mobility key projects that align with TR strategies and initiatives (ex: Employee well-being, Job Architecture project, policy review, etc.).
- Assist with documenting TR processes (will include liaising with key stakeholders). Where applicable, contribute to process improvement review.
- Support the team in identifying ways to improve employee experience as it relates to TR interactions and processes.
- Work in a transformational role, helping support the design and implementation of new initiatives.
- Support the project management of numerous projects ensuring milestones are maintained and stakeholders informed.
- Work cross-functionally and globally to achieve the TR team's goals and philosophies.
Essential qualifications for this role:
- You are experienced with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
- You can conduct quantitative research.
- You demonstrate attention to detail and creative thinking.
- You can manage your own time, priorities, and resources to achieve the desired outcome.
- You have experience communicating cross functionally achieving collaboration on intended outcomes.
- You have Project Management skills with an awareness of HRIS systems and processes.
- You are passionate about using your God-given talents to positively impact the world.
